Job Responsibilities
- Repairs & Diagnosis: Self-diagnose automotive issues and complete repairs across a wide range of vehicle types.
- Alignment Specialist: Perform precision alignments using our Hunter Hawkeye machine.
- General Service: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on domestic, European, classic, and vintage vehicles.
- Diagnostics: Use both mechanical and computerized equipment to identify malfunctions in complex vehicle systems.
- The “Whole 9 Yards”: Handle everything from basic sensor swaps to full mechanical restorations.
- Testing: Conduct thorough test drives and checks to confirm repairs are successful.
- Documentation: Record services, parts used, and procedures via Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
- Customer Communication: Translate “mechanic speak” into clear explanations for our customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of vehicle systems from bumper to bumper (or tailgate to bonnet). Expertise in electronic sensors and electrical systems is a major plus.
- Tools: You must provide your own tools to remain proficient in daily tasks, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to untangle complex mechanical puzzles.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; completion of an automotive training program and 2+ years of hands-on experience.
- Certifications: ASE certification is highly preferred. We value your expertise and compensate accordingly for these credentials.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably with hands overhead.
